Meet the Long Beach Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Long Beach

Servo Garage Doors Long Beach has been fixing doors across Long Beach since 2015, and the people who show up at your house are the reason 18,000+ doors have gone in right. We’re independently owned and operated under The Haven Standard, which means every technician on our Long Beach crew works to the same written-price, photo-documented system, whether they’re replacing a torsion spring in Belmont Shore or installing a new opener in Bixby Knolls. Background-checked, uniformed, and local to the Long Beach area. These are the people you’ll actually see on the truck.

Our People

Marcus Deller, Owner

Marcus founded Servo Garage Doors Long Beach in 2015 after spending years working on doors where “estimates” were verbal and the final invoice was a surprise. That frustration is literally why Clause 1 of The Haven Standard exists: a flat, written price before any work starts, every time. He still takes service calls and shows up on job sites, which means he’s seen a torsion spring held together with zip ties for three years and a door that had been “fixed” with duct tape and hope. Marcus carries a state license, keeps the insurance current, and answers emergency calls himself when the schedule gets tight. If you bring in a written estimate from another company, he’s the one who’ll walk it with you and give you a free second opinion, paperwork in hand.

Ray T., Lead Technician

Ray has been turning wrenches on garage doors for over a decade and has been with Servo since 2017. He’s our torsion spring specialist, the guy who measures the old spring’s wire diameter and coil count before ordering the replacement, so the door balance is actually right instead of “close enough.” Ray works all eight major brands: LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, Craftsman, and Raynor. He’s the one who’ll point at a rusted cable and tell you exactly what it costs to replace before he touches it. Outside work, Ray fishes off the Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier when the weather cooperates, which he’ll tell you is not often enough.

Dana K., Senior Installer

Dana runs our full-door installation work across Long Beach, from Naples Island to North Long Beach. She’s been installing residential garage doors and openers for nine years and handles everything from a single-car Clopay replacement to a full Wayne Dalton setup with a new belt-drive opener. Dana is the person who measures the opening twice, checks the headroom and track clearance, and writes down the exact scope before anything gets ordered. She’s meticulous about the documented photo record on every job, which she says is just common sense: you should see what was behind the old door before anyone quotes you a new one. Dana grew up in Long Beach and still gets annoyed when people call it “LA.”

Sam R., Service Coordinator

Sam answers the phone when you call (424) 688-6426, day or night. He’s the live person on the other end, not a recording or a callback queue. Sam has been with Servo for five years and knows the Long Beach service area block by block: if your garage door won’t open in Los Altos at 11 p.m., he knows which technician is closest and can give you a name and an on-the-way text before you hang up. He books the appointments, confirms the flat written price with the customer before the truck rolls, and makes sure every emergency call gets answered like an actual emergency. Sam restores old bicycles in his garage, which his wife has asked him to stop calling “inventory.”

One Standard, Every Job

One Standard, Every Job

All of us work under The Haven Standard, which means the same promises apply whether you’re getting a new garage door in the Virginia Country Club area or a broken spring replaced in Wrigley. Clause 1: a flat, written price and written scope before any work starts. No “call for a quote.” No surprises on the invoice. Clause 4: a documented photo record on every visit, so you see the failed part and the finished work before anyone asks you to sign anything. Every technician is background-checked and uniformed, and every job closes with a written warranty and a clear record of what was found and what was done. That’s what “made right” has meant here since 2015, and it’s the same standard we hold across the Servo network. When Marcus wrote the founding rule, the idea was simple: the customer should see the evidence, know the price, and trust the person who showed up. That’s still how we run the Long Beach crew.
