You can safely check which roller has failed: unplug the opener, look at each roller where it meets the track, and see which one is flat-spotted, cracked, or sitting at an angle. What you shouldn’t do is unbolt the roller brackets yourself. The bottom roller on a sectional door carries real load, and the cable runs through the bottom bracket under tension. If that cable lets go while the bracket is loose, it moves fast and it can take a hand with it. This is the one place where a YouTube tutorial and a socket set go wrong.
