Garage Door Before & After in Long Beach, CA

Photos are the only proof that matters when you’re choosing a garage door company. We can tell you about our 18,000+ completed jobs since 2015, but showing you a cracked panel next to a clean new one tells the story faster. Every project below follows the same Haven Standard rules: a written price before work starts, a documented photo record when we leave, and a door that works. This is what leaving looks like.

Torsion Spring Replacement in Belmont Shore

Broken torsion spring above a garage door in Belmont Shore, Long Beach before replacement and a new spring after
Before: snapped torsion spring, door stuck half open. After: new spring, balanced door.

A torsion spring on this Belmont Shore garage door snapped at 6:40 a.m. on a Tuesday. The cable had whipped loose and the door was wedged three feet off the ground, so nothing in that garage was secure. We measured the old spring at 0.250-inch wire diameter with a clean break at the coil, matched it to the door’s weight, and had the new spring in before the owner’s first meeting. The photo record showed the snapped spring removed, the new spring torqued, and the door running level. That same spring now has a written warranty and a 365-Day Done Right Promise behind it.

Panel Replacement After a Run-In With a Bumper on Junipero Avenue

Dented bottom garage door panel before replacement and a matching new panel after on a home near Junipero Avenue
Before: bottom panel buckled from a low-speed hit. After: new panel matched and installed.

A car nudged the bottom panel of a Junipero Avenue garage door hard enough to buckle it, but the rest of the door was fine. Replacing the entire door would have been wasteful, so we sourced a matching panel for the existing Clopay model and swapped just the damaged section. The before photo showed the buckled panel and the bent lower track. The after photo showed the new panel matched in color and grain, with the door cycling quietly. The homeowner kept the whole bill under a third of what a new door would have cost.

Full Door Replacement for a 22-Year-Old Wood Door in Los Altos

Warped wooden garage door with rotted sections before replacement and an insulated steel door after on a Los Altos Long Beach home
Before: warped wood, rotted bottom rail. After: insulated steel door, new rails and seals.

This Los Altos home had a 22-year-old wood door that had warped enough to leave a visible gap at the bottom corner. Skunks and June gloom air were both getting in. We removed the old door, rails, and hardware, then installed an insulated steel door sized to the same opening. The before photo documented the rotted bottom rail and the gap. The after photo showed the new door sealed tight with weatherstripping against the floor. The owner got the written scope and flat price before any work started, per Clause 1, and the full photo record after we finished.

Opener Replacement on a LiftMaster That Had Seen Better Days in Bixby Knolls

Old LiftMaster garage door opener with a failed logic board before replacement and a new opener with battery backup after in Bixby Knolls
Before: dead logic board, opener unresponsive. After: new LiftMaster opener, programmed remotes.

The Bixby Knolls customer’s LiftMaster opener stopped responding to every remote and the wall button on the same day. We tested the logic board and found it was not sending signal to the motor, which on a 14-year-old unit means replacement makes more sense than repair. We installed a new LiftMaster opener with battery backup, new safety sensors, and reprogrammed both remotes. The before photo showed the old board and the worn trolley carriage. The after photo showed the new motor bolted in, the sensors aligned, and the door running smooth with the keypad active.

Track and Cable Repair on a Crooked Door in Naples

Bent garage door track and frayed cable before repair and a straight track with new cable after on a Naples Long Beach garage
Before: bent vertical track, frayed cable, door hanging at an angle. After: new track and cable, door level and quiet.

A door in Naples was rising crooked and grinding against the track on the left side. The culprit was a bent vertical track and a cable that had started to fray at the drum. We replaced the track section, installed a new cable, and rebalanced the door so it lifted evenly. The before photo caught the angle of the door and the steel strands poking out of the cable. The after photo showed the door sitting square in the opening, both cables taut, and the rollers running without drag. The owner got the before-and-after photo record on the spot.

Weather Seal and Threshold Job in Alamitos Heights

Cracked garage door weather seal with daylight showing through before replacement and a clean new seal after in Alamitos Heights
Before: cracked seal, visible daylight, leaves piling in. After: new bottom seal, threshold installed, clean floor.

The Alamitos Heights garage floor had a visible line of daylight under the door, and every wind event pushed leaves and dust inside. The old bottom seal was cracked and brittle. We pulled it, installed a new heavy-duty rubber seal, and added a floor threshold where the concrete had settled unevenly. The before photo showed the daylight gap and the cracked material. The after photo showed the seal compressed evenly against the threshold. The difference is in the floor staying clean the next time the wind picks up off Marine Stadium.
